One principal purpose of the Fund is to establish the David D. Caron Fellowship. The Fellowship helps defray the travel expenses of students or recent graduates who have been selected to present a paper at the Research Forum but require financial assistance to attend. A new cohort of Fellows will receive awards every year - and in this way the Society can continue David's work to promote and support new young scholars in international law.
